IRNA - Spokesman of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Behrouz Kamalvandi said on Monday that Iran is seriously pursuing conduct of nuclear research and implementation of nuclear propellers in line with its predefined programs.

In an interview with the state radio on the latest status of research on implementation of nuclear propellers and production of small reactors to generate nuclear electricity, he said, 'We have sent a report to our foreign ministry with regards to implementation of nuclear propeller which is to be handed over to Majlis in the form of a three months reports.

According to protocol self-declaration under amendment code 3.1, members of the IAEA should notify the body prior to working on nuclear fuel or nuclear cycle, he said.
