Tel Aviv angered by ‘Palestine’ in UN map instead of ‘Israel’

18 May 2013 - 16:12

TEHRAN, May 18 (MNA) – Israeli ambassador to the UN has criticized UNRWA for agreement to write Palestine instead of Israel in maps.
Egyptian news agency MENA reported that Israel's ambassador to the UN, Ron Prosor had criticized UNRWA’s decision in Lebanon.

In remarks indicative of Israel’s anger about the UN-affiliated agency’s action, Prosor said that UNRWA’s Lebanon act on historical and geographical events originated in imagination.

Israeli ambassador had previously criticized Ban ki-Moon for UNRWA’s director Ann Dismorr’s actions in Lebanon.

Dosmorr had accepted recently a gift map where there was no name of Israel.
