Financial Tribune - Mouteh Gold Mine produced 301 kilograms of gold ingots during the first seven months of the current fiscal year (March 21-Oct. 22), registering a 78% growth compared with last year’s corresponding period, Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization reported.
A total of 70 kg were produced in the seventh month, marking a 169% upsurge year-on-year. Iran’s first exploited deposit of the precious mineral, Mouteh Gold Mine, is located in Meymeh County in Isfahan Province and operates with an annual production capacity 300,000 kg.
