MNA – According to Iran’s Science and Technology Vice-Presidency, after long delays, the Iran-Austria Commission on Economic Cooperation has been finally formed and it is aimed to set up a road map for five years of cooperation to fulfill bilateral agreements.
The mentioned road map includes several workshops. One of them is the workshop on Mines and Technology technologies, which its responsibilities is put forward by the Ministry of Mining and Trade and the Science and Technology Vice-Presidency.
The purpose of this working group is to "introduce the trends and challenges of technology in the international arena," "transfer of technology and acquisition of new knowledge in the three areas of the environment, renewable energy and mining." In line with this end, the working group on Efficient and Mine Technologies has developed an ‘Action Plan’ to implement the defined projects.
The third meeting of the working group on efficient and mine technologies is aimed at monitoring the projects as well as defining the mechanism for the implementation of some projects, was held between the 28th and 29th of November in the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology Republic.
