IRNA – Iraqi President Fouad Masoum and Iran’s Ambassador in Baghdad Iraj Masjedi stressed he need for boosting bilateral relations.


In their meeting on Sunday, both officials discussed a range of issues including regional situation and expansion of mutual cooperation; they also underlined development of bilateral ties.

The two sides expressed hope that the neighboring states of Iran and Iraq will serve as a role model for the Islamic countries by broadening mutual collaboration.
