IRNA – Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif conferred on Thursday with the EU Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini on full implementation of the 2015 nuclear agreement officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).


Zarif and Mogherini met behind closed doors about major regional developments mainly those in Lebanon and Syria.

Foreign Minister Zarif arrived in Rome earlier on Thursday leading a delegation to attend the third international conference on 'Mediterranean Dialogue.'

The visit is taking place upon an official invitation extended by his Italian counterpart Angelino Alfano.
