MNA – Iran’s President Rouhani while receiving credentials of the new Finnish Ambassador to Tehran on Sat. stressed the need for further expansion of economic, cultural, political ties between the two countries.
President Rouhani deemed Iran-Finland ties “positive” and “growing”, calling for further efforts to develop business, economic, cultural, and political cooperation between the two countries.
Rouhani also attached importance to increasing scientific and technological interaction between the two sides alongside boosting cooperation in tourism industry.
Noting the ample potentials, capabilities and advancements of the two countries in various sectors, including industry and science, President Rouhani voiced Iran’s keen interest in welcoming Finnish entrepreneurs and investors in investing in Iran's various projects.
For his part, the new Finnish Ambassador to Tehran Keijo Norvanto highlighted the developing relations between Tehran and Helsinki in recent years, calling for the implementation of the existing agreements between investors, businessmen and trade delegations of the two countries.
