IRNA – Oman Air Force Commander Major General Matar bin Ali al-Obaidani met with Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces for international affairs Brigadier General Qadir Nezami on Tuesday.


During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the latest situation in defense and military fields between the armed forces of the two countries and talked about regional military and strategic situation and the role of the two countries in providing and developing stability and security in the Persian Gulf and western Asia region and the need to confront terrorism threats and danger of disintegration.

The Omani general, heading a high-ranking military delegation, is in Iran at the invitation of Iran's Air Force Commander and had meetings and held negotiations with senior Iranian senior military commanders.
