IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif conferred with his Swiss counterpart Didier Burkhalter in New York on Monday on bilateral ties and regional developments.

The two sides discussed issues related to bilateral relations and other topics of interest.

Zarif is to meet Britain's Foreign Minister Boris Johnson to discuss mutually interested issues today.

The Iranian foreign minister is accompanied by President Hassan Rouhani during his visit to the US to attend the UN General Assembly meeting.
