MNA – President Rouhani said that he would address JCPOA, fight against terrorism and the Myanmar crisis in United Nations General Assembly.
Hassan Rouhani made the remarks before taking off to New York. This morning, President Hassan Rouhani leaves Tehran for New York in order to participate in the 72nd United Nations General Assembly where he will give a speech.
According to the head of communications department at president’s office, Parviz Esmaeili, Hassan Rouhani has several plans in his tight schedule during the trip which include delivering a speech in United Nations General Assembly where the leaders of many countries are present. He will also elaborate on the country’s latest stance toward the most important regional and international concerns such as the upsetting conditions of Myanmar Muslims.
Last week on the sidelines of Islamic Cooperation Organization’s Summit for Science and Technology in Astana, Kazakhstan, President Rouhani urged the international community to help stop horrendous crimes and violence against Rohingya Musilms.
Other plans on his schedule for his five-day visit include a friendly meeting with a number of Iranian nationals living in the US, general meetings with intellectuals and economic activists, and a press conference during which he will answer questions of international media.
