IRNA – Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Mohammad Fathali on Monday hailed the role of the Lebanese resistance and army in defeating the Takfiri terrorists, and said that Iran supports the Lebanese national unity.

'Iran will continue to defend the oppressed nations, especially the Palestinians,' Fathali said.

The Iranian ambassador, meantime, pointed to the Genocide of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar, and said, 'We also condemn the killings in Myanmar, which are being done while the world is silent about what is happening in that country.'

Fathali, meantime, called on the international community to help bringing to a halt the masscare of the Muslims in that country.
