MNA – Head of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi re-voiced the call for finding the kidnaped cleric, Imam Musa al-Sadr.
“The call for finding Imam Musa al-Sadr is a national, Islamic, and revolutionary demand and both Iran and Lebanon are resolute in this cause,” said the Iranian MP Alaeddin Boroujerdi on Monday. The Head of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission made the remarks while meeting the family of the abducted cleric in Tehran at the venue of the Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission on the day marking the 39th anniversary of the abduction of the leader of Lebanon's Shia Muslims in Libya.
“The ill-fated element of Libya’s history [he means former Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi] did not follow the minimum code of conduct in terms of being hospitable to guests in the case of Imam Musa al-Sadr,” regretted the Iranian law-maker.
“All of us, along with the family of this prominent figure, strongly believe that he is still alive,” underlined the Iranian legislator, “and we support his family in this call [for finding the kidnapped cleric].”
