SHANA - The National Iranian Gas Company says it will launch Iran Gas Trunkline-VI before winter to ensure gas supply to western regions of the country.

Hamidreza Boujarzadeh said the 610-km project bring natural gas recovered from different phases of the offshore South Pars Gas Field in Persian Gulf to Asalouyeh, Bidboland and Ahwaz and then to western provinces of the country.

Equipped with 5 pressure stations, the pipeline is being laid out for delivery of 110 mcm/d of gas.
