MNA – Iranian Health Minister Hassan Hashemi arrived in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, on Monday.

In order to hold bilateral meetings and to exchange view with Kyrgyz officials, including his counterpart Talantbek Batyraliev, Hashemi left Tehran for Bishkek on Monday.

He is scheduled to meet and discuss with Talantbek Batyraliev on medicine status and medical equipment.

On this trip, Deputy Minister and Head of the Food and Drug Administration Dr. Rasoul Dinarvand accompanies the minister of health.

The visit will focus on cooperation in the fields of treatment and hospital services, medicine, medical and laboratory equipment, medical education and research, health care, prevention of communicable and non-communicable diseases, and the development of health networks.

The Iranian delegation will also visit Bishkek University, several health and medical technology centers in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, and negotiate with the heads of these centers to extend cooperation.
