US human rights report aims to pressure Iran: Judiciary chief
Iran's Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani says the US State Department’s "fake" human rights report against Iran simply aimed to exert more pressure on Tehran.

Iran’s intelligence minister warns reformist leader
Iranian Intelligence Minister Heidar Moslehi has issued a warning to a reformist leader in Iran without directly mentioning the name, Mehr news agency reported.
"A person who was one of the heads of 'sedition' during the 2009 presidential elections in Iran, should not misunderstand the fact that he has not been punished like the reformist leaders who were placed under house arrests," he said.


Singapore supports Iran’s nuclear rights based on NPT: Official
A Singaporean official says his country supports Iran’s nuclear rights within the framework of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). Speaking at the first meeting of the Iran-Singapore Political Consultative Committee on Wednesday, Permanent Secretary of the Singaporean Ministry of Foreign Affairs Bilahari Kausikan called for finding a peaceful solution to the Western dispute over Iran's nuclear energy program.




Kenya reportedly accuses 2 Iranians of terror plot


A Kenyan court has allegedly found two Iranian nationals guilty of planning to attack Western targets in Kenya. Magistrate Kaire Waweru Kiare said Thursday the prosecution has proved beyond reasonable doubt all counts against the two.

 
Asia Fuel Oil-Iran exports 8.7 mln April bbls, up five-fold yr/yr-trade
Iran exported nearly 8.7 million barrels of fuel oil in April, or about 300,000 barrels per day (bpd), an increase of more than five-fold from a year-ago, according to traders and data from Thomson Reuters Oil Analytics.
