FNA- One one was killed and several others wounded after the driver of a passenger car in Iran's Western province of Kermanshah ignored a police warning and tried to escape.
MNA quoted witnesses as saying on Sunday afternoon that the incident happened near Kermanshah's international airport in Western Iran, adding that it left at least one dead and several others wounded.
The Iranian police had announced early June that it has arrested two more terrorists in Kermanshah, and seized over 90 handguns from a car in the Western province.
A total number of 92 Colt Handguns have been seized from a Peugeot 405 car in Salas Babajani region in Kermanshah province, police said in a statement.
Also last month, a senior judiciary official announced on Sunday that tens of terrorists were identified and arrested in Kermanshah province after the June 7 ISIL attacks in Tehran which killed 18 people and was claimed by the ISIL terrorist group.
"Over 50 terrorists were identified and arrested in Kermanshah province after the terrorist incidents in Tehran," Mohammad Hossein Sadeqi told reporters.
He added that a number of suicide vests, electronic detonators and weapons were seized from the terrorists.
