IRNA – Vice-Chairman of Greece parliament Speaker Anastasios Kurakis here on Thursday called for expansion of all-out ties with Iran.
Kurakis made the remarks in a meeting with Mohammad Reza Pour-Ebrahimi, who heads Iranian Parliament's Economic Commission, in Athens.
The ways for expansion of economic and trade relations were also discussed during the meeting.
Touching upon the two countries’ historic relations, Kurakis emphasized the need for expansion of relations between the two countries.
He also condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Tehran, stressing the need for combating terrorism and extremism.
Pour-Ebrahimi, who is visiting Greece ahead of a parliamentary delegation, for his part, urged reinforcement of economic relations between the two countries.
