IRNA -- Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif and Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni on Wednesday discussed ways of expanding relations between Tehran and Rome.
The two sides also reviewed regional and international relations.
At the beginning of the meeting, Gentiloni condoled Zarif on victims of terrorist incident in Iran.
Zarif, for his part, voiced Iran’s interest in expansion of economic cooperation with Italy.
Zarif arrived in Rome from Berlin on Wednesday morning. He is scheduled to meet with Italian Foreign Minister Angelino Alfano and President of the Chamber of Deputies Laura Boldrini on key regional and international issues and bilateral relations.
