IRNA -- British Ambassador to Iran Nicholas Hopton on Saturday voiced hope for development of economic relations between Iran and Europe.


He made the remarks in a meeting with local officials in Gorgan in the Northern province of Golestan.

The envoy hailed Iran's investment opportunities and said that Iran’s economic capacities should be introduced to the world.

Hopton called for increase of consultations between Iranian and British trade delegations to pave the way for dispatch of more British investors to Iran.

The UK envoy paid a visit to the northern province in a bid to get familiar with the economic capacities of the province.
