Judiciary rejects voter fraud claims in presidential election

IRNA -- Judiciary Spokesman Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei on Wednesday rejected voter fraud claims in the May 19 presidential election.


He made the remarks in his press briefing on Wednesday.

Ejei referred to the disputes on the results of 2009 presidential election and 2017 election and said that according to the Guardian Council report, no irregularity effective on results has been confirmed.

President Hassan Rouhani won a landslide victory on Friday by garnering over 23.4 million votes (57 percent of more than 41 million cast ballots) and became president for another four-year term.
