ISNA– Iranian film “Daughter” directed by Reza Mirkarimi will be screened in UCLA Celebration of Iranian Cinema in Los Angeles.

UCLA Celebration of Iranian Cinema will be the host of Iranian films May 6-19 with Reza Mirkarimi’s ‘Daughter’ is scheduled for May 18.

The movie won Best Film and Best Actor (Male) at the 47th International Film Festival of India, grand prize and the award for best actor in a leading role at Mons International Love Film Festival and ‘CinéFemme’ and the International Confederation of Arts and Compilation awards.

The movie tells the story of a girl who sets out for a trip to Tehran from the southwestern city of Abadan to attend a friend’s farewell party, triggering a family crisis.
