Iranian officials stated Iran could meet Turkey's need for petroleum,natural gas, during Turkish minister Y?lmaz's Tehran visit.
Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad received Turkish Development Minister Cevdet Yilmaz in Tehran.
Ahmadinejad and Yilmaz discussed relations between the two countries as well as ways to increase the trade volume more.
Following the meeting, Turkey-Iran Business Forum meeting took place.
Participants stressed that private and public sectors of both countries had important responsibilities in increasing the cooperation.
Turkish minister met Iranian petroleum minister in Tehran.
Turkish Minister Yilmaz also met Iranian Petroleum Minister Rostam Qasemi in Tehran on Saturday.
Qasemi said Iran could meet Turkey's need for petroleum, natural gas and electricity energy.
Noting that there were large investments opportunities in Iran, Qasemi called on Turkish businessmen to invest in his country.
Yilmaz said that the trade volume between Turkey and Iran was 22 billion USD, adding that natural gas and petroleum constituted an important part of this figure.
