Tasnim – Iran national football team remained unchanged in FIFA's World Rankings, released on Thursday.





Iran, ranked 28th in the world, is still the top of Asia while South Korea (43rd), Japan (44th) and Australia (50th) are in pursuit but still quite some distance off the pace.

Brazil continued to top the World Rankings, with Argentina and world champion Germany completing the top-three. Chile and Colombia remained in fourth and fifth place as South American sides dominate the rankings.

Outside of the top 100 there was some notable change. A pair of wins for Madagascar (111, plus 9) over Malawi (114, minus 14) saw them claim the titles of the month’s biggest movers up and down the table respectively.
