Sputnik News- Damascus delegation head Bashar Jaafari arrived Monday in the Kazakh capital of Astana to take part in an international meeting on Syria, a Sputnik correspondent reported.

The new round of talks in Astana format will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, preceded by expert consultations on Tuesday.

Apart from the Syrian sides, Russia, Iran and Turkey as ceasefire guarantor states, as well as the United Nations, take part in the talks.
