IRNA – Iran and Georgia on Saturday sealed three memoranda of understanding (MoUs) in sports, agriculture, communication and information technology.
The MoUs were signed with the attendance of First Vice-President Es'haq Jahangiri and Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili in Tehran.
Iranian Minister of Youth and Sports, Masood Soltanifar and Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze signed the first MoU on sports and youth field.
Iran's Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi and Georgia's Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Gakharia inked the second MoU on communication and technology field.
The MoU on agriculture was signed by Iranian Minister of Agricultural Jihad Mahmoud Hojjati and his Georgian counterpart Mikheil Janelidze.
Vice President and Head of Iran's Department of the Environment, Massoumeh Ebtekar and her Georgian counterpart signed a joint statement.
Iranian and Georgian private sectors also sealed two cooperation documents on establishing a refinery complex and a ceramic and tiles factory in Georgia.
