April 19, The Iran Project – An Iranian parliamentarian says Republican US Senator’s meeting with the head of the terrorist anti-Iran Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) indicates continuation of America’s anti-Iran policy.
In reaction to Republican US Senator John McCain’s meeting with the head of the notorious MKO group, Maryam Rajavi, Javad Karimi Ghodusi said that the visit was certainly made to show the vicious nature of the United States.
Karimi Ghodusi also noted that with their transfer from Iraq, the MKO terrorists are less dangerous than before, but the Islamic Republic of Iran will firmly response their anti-Iran measure.
In addition, Chairman of the Iranian Parliament's Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy Alaeddin Boroujerdi said in this regard that US is the Iranian nation’s enemy and a supporter of MKO terrorist group.
Republican US Senator John McCain met Rajavi and some other members of the notorious MKO group in the Albanian capital, Tirana on Friday.
In response, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi slammed US Senator for his recent meeting with members of the terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO), saying Washington will pay a price for supporting terrorism.
The MKO has carried out numerous terrorist attacks against Iranian civilians and government officials over the past three decades. Out of the nearly 17,000 Iranians killed in terrorist assaults since the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, about 12,000 have fallen victim to MKO’s acts of terror.
