IRNA – Six major achievements were unveiled by the Research and Self-Sufficiency Jihad Organization of the Iranian Army Ground Force on the occasion of National Army Day.

These achievements are semi-automatic 50 caliber sniper rifle (Heidar), tactical vehicle 8*8 equipped with the automatic mine-planting system (Heidar 5), three-axis trailer, including two personnel carriers (Soleiman 1), directional long range sound system (Karna), upgraded tactical vehicle 8*8 with new turret (Heidar 6), and 155 m.m self-propelled canon (Hoveize).

Iran's Army Ground Force Commander Brigadier General Kiomars Heidari and some commanders of the ground force were present at the unveiling ceremony.

The National Army Day is on April 18.
