Iran-Italy first joint scientific meeting to be held April

ISNA – Iranian deputy minister of science, research and technology announced the first meeting of joint cooperation in science, technology, and innovation between Iran and Italy will be held in April.

“The meeting aims to provide new opportunities for universities, educational institutions, research centers and technology companies based on Iran and Italy’s science and technology parks and technology units,” Iranian deputy minister of science, research, and technology Vahid Ahmadi said.

Describing the meeting as a network event and creator of relation between Iran and Italy, he said: “the other aim of this meeting is sharing technology and providing an appropriate environment for promoting bilateral negotiations”.

“The meeting will be held in line with the implementation of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that has been signed during 2015 between Iran and Italy’s ministry of education, universities and research centers,” Ahmadi added.

“About 100 of Italian activists in industry and technology fields along with Iranian knowledge-based companies will participate in this meeting which will be held April 19-20,” he continued.
