March 6, The Iran Project – ICHTO Director General of Marketing and Promotion has stressed on the development of Iran-France tourism relations with a focus on specialized training of human resources.
In a meeting with France’s former culture minister Renaud Donnedieu de Vaber on Sunday, Director General of Marketing and Promotion of Iran Cultural Heritage, Handcrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHTO) Ali Bagher Nemati Zargaran emphasized on Iran’s taking benefit from France’s experiences in the training of human resources as well as providing services to tourists.
After Iran's nuclear deal with the world powers, France has always been a pioneer in the development of tourism relations with Iran, Nemati Zargaran said, adding so there is now a proper condition for developing the relations and transferring France’s experiences to the Islamic Republic.
He went on to say that in addition to gaining economic achievements, tourism development has many positive effects on other areas such as culture, society and politics.
Moreover, tourism can make nations to know each other and destroys misunderstandings and problems resulting from lack of knowledge, he noted.
ICHTO Director General of Marketing and Promotion stressed Iran’s willingness to develop international relations, particularly in the field of tourism, saying providing tourism infrastructure, increasing the number of resorts, like four and five-star hotels, creating jobs and improving the livelihood of local community are among the country’s important programs.
France’s former culture minister Renaud Donnedieu de Vaber also put emphasize on changing the negative face of Iran in Europe that is represented by media as a necessity, adding the country 's rich culture and history, has various tourism potentials and does not resemble the Western media propaganda.
