IRNA – Iran Charge d’affaires in Turkey Ali Reza Delkhosh said that the border guard who had disrespected and beaten up a number of Iranian nationals at Gurbulak border point was fired.

After the video went viral on social networks, Iranian Foreign Ministry officials and political officials of the East Azarbaijan Governor General Office reacted strongly to the issue.

Iran said it would close its Bazargan border into Turkey of the issue was not dealt with properly.
