IRNA – Head of Organization of Atomic Energy of Iran (OAEI) Ali Akbar Salehi said that nuclear industry is vigorously moving forward.
Addressing the seminar of Cultural Iran in Today’s World late on Tuesday, he added that nuclear talks were honorable because the success was achieved on the virtue of relying on people.
Nuclear industry is experiencing desirable conditions, he said, noting that it is unfair to say the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action has done nothing, as it prompted successes in the fields of oil industry and sea transportation.
After the 1979 Islamic Revolution, the Iranian nation moved on the path to prosperity and overcame all impediments through prudence, Salehi said.
The reason why nuclear dossier came into existence is that the enemies wanted to counter the Islamic Revolution, as they adopted sanctions and even made threats to achieve their goals but they all failed.
On the number of centrifuges, Salehi said, “We have sufficient number of them and there was no need to maintain all the 20,000 centrifuges,” he said.
