president.ir- President Rouhani visited and appraised Ahwaz’ Number 2 Water Treatment Plant during his visit to Khuzestan province on Thursday.

Dr Rouhani also visited different stages of emergency power system of the drinking water treatment plant and was briefed by the managers of the general water supply system of Khuzestan province.

The diesel standby generator for Ahwaz drinking water facilities was also unveiled at President Rouhani’s order.
The standby generator will help supply drinking water to Ahwaz city even during power cuts.

Dr Rouhani also stressed the importance of preparedness and providing the necessary equipment for emergency situations and disasters.
