IRNA – Foreign Ministers of Iran and Romania discussed issues of mutual interests on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.
According to a report by the Foreign Ministry Media Department on Sunday, Mohammad Javad Zarif, who is in Germany to attend 53rd Munich Security Conference, met Romanian Foreign Minister Teodor Melescanu.
The 3-day Munich Security Conference kicked off on Friday in the presence of 10 presidents, US vice-president, eight prime ministers, foreign ministers from 30 countries, defense ministers from 20 states as well as international organizations officials such as UN secretary general, NATO secretary general, heads of Organization of Islamic Cooperation , Arab League, Shanghai Organization, heads of European parliament and Council , EU foreign policy chief, director generals of International Atomic energy agency (IAEA), Interpol, International Migration Organization (IMO), UN High Commissioner for Refugees and other EU commissioners.
Deputy Foreign Minister for legal and international affairs Abbas Araqchi and Deputy Foreign Minister for Europe and American affairs Majid Takht-e Ravanchi are accompanying Zarif in the conference.
