MNA – Head of Iran Archery Federation has said Iran’s national squad has received US visa and will travel to country to participate in Las Vegas 2017 Indoor Archery World Cup Stage 4 and Final.

Mr. Mohammad Ali Shojaei had told reporters earlier on Wednesday that the national squad had abandoned the idea of traveling US since the country had issued visa only for 5 people of archery team.

“We thus rule out the US visit and will prepare for Asian Indoor Archery World Cup Stage 4,” he had told the press. However, Shojaei updated his information for the press when the US had completed issuing visas for all 16 members of the archery national squad.

“We will travel to the US now that they have issued for all members of the team. We do not have much time especially when we should travel to Yerevan for visa interview; however, we will work to send the team as soon as possible to the US competitions,” he told the press.
