IRNA – US President Donald Trump in an exclusive interview with Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly, reiterated his previous remarks against the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action and announced that it’s a shame that we’ve had a deal like that.


In the interview aired Sunday on Fox Sports ahead of Super Bowl LI, the US president added, “I think it was the worst deal I’ve ever seen negotiated. I think it was a deal that never should have been negotiated.”

“I think it’s a shame that we’ve had a deal like that and that we had to sign a deal like that and there was no reason to do it and if you’re going to do it, have a good deal.”

The US president claimed that “We gave them $1.7 billion in cash, which is unheard of, and we put the money up and we have really nothing to show for it.”

Answering O’Reilly question that if he will tear the deal up, Trump said, “We’ll see what happens. We’re going to see what happens.'

The US president proposed possible cancelation of nuclear deal unilaterally while all other sides of nuclear deal including Iranian, European Union officials and other sides of the deal have warned about failure in execution of nuclear deal or efforts to review it.

The US president, who has always provoked Iranophobia in its remarks, went on to say, “I can say they have total disregard for our country. They are the number one terrorist state, they are sending money all over the place, and weapons, and you can’t do that.'

O’Reilly referred to recent US sanctions against Iran and asked Trump about potential US actions.

In response, Trump said, “I never talk about military moves. I always criticized President Obama with having an announcement that they’re going into Mosul. They give the name, the date the time. I don’t believe in that.”

Answering O’Reilly question that Trump is not at this point bullish on Iran, the US president added, “I’m not bullish. I think they have total disrespect for our country and I understand that deal. I would have lived with it if they said “OK, were all together now,” but it’s just the opposite. It’s like they’re emboldened. They follow our planes, they circle our ships with their little boats and they lost respect because they can’t believe anybody could be so stupid as to make a deal like that.”

Iranian officials have showed reaction to US president repeated anti-Iranian remarks.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif, said in reaction to US President Donald Trump that Iran is unmoved by threats from abroad because it derives security from its own people.

'Iran unmoved by threats as we derive security from our people. We'll never initiate war, but we can only rely on our own means of defense,' Zarif said on his Tweeter account released on Friday.

“We will never use our weapons against anyone, except in self-defense. Let us see if any of those who complain can make the same statement, “ Iranian foreign minister said in another message.
