Shana -- Operator of the 4th refinery of South Pars Gas Complex says gas recovery from phases 6 to 8 of the supergiant South Pars Gas Field has reached 83 million cubic meters per day.

Behzad Salari said the refinery processes 53 mcm/d natural gas and injects it to the national gas trunkline.

He further said nearly 30mcm/d of the gas from the phases is transferred to other refineries of the complex for processing.

The fourth refinery is a supplier of high-quality propane and butane.
It can produce 1,000 tons of propane and over 700 tons of butane per day.
