IRNA – Head of the Iran-Oman Joint Chamber of Commerce Mohsen Zarrabi said on Saturday that Iran's exports to Oman has risen significantly over the past few years.
Iran's exports to Oman reached $390 million over the past seven months and is expected to rise to $600 million by the year end, Zarrabi said.
This is while Iran's annual exports of commodities to the Persian Gulf country used to be at $148 million just four years ago, the official said.
He said that the rise in Iran's exports to Oman is due in part to launching a direct shipping line between the two countries.
