Kerman prov exports up by 13% in 9 months

IRNA – Goods worth over $900m were exported from Kerman province during the first 3 quarters of the current Iranian calendar year (started on March 20, 2016) which had 13% rise compared with the same period last year, an official said.


Head of the Foreign Trade Office of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Kerman province Mohammad Reza Ghavam told IRNA on Saturday that some $575m of pistachio, $10m of copper artifacts, $8.5m of industrial and electronic tools and $8m of tile and ceramics were exported from Kerman to regional countries, Eastern Asia and to some European countries.

He referred to Nano Compound Masterbatch exports saying the product is being
produced in one of industrial units of Kerman which had exports worth $222m in 9 months.

'Modern technologies are used in producing Nano Compound Masterbatch,' he added.
