Tasnim– A number of foreign military attachés and ambassadors to Iran paid a visit to an exhibition about the development projects carried out by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).

During the expo, the foreign diplomats and the military attachés were briefed on part of activities and projects carried out by Khatam al-Anbia Construction Base, a conglomerate belonging to the IRGC.

They attended various booths of the exhibition, including Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals, Ports and Coastal Structures, Mines, Construction and Reconstruction of Machinery and Equipment, Information and Communications Technology, Transport, and Water and Energy.

Ambassadors from South Korea and Azerbaijan as well as military attachés from Syria, Azerbaijan, Poland, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, India, Indonesia, Turkey and Venezuela's charge d'affaires were among the foreign visitors of the IRGC’s exhibition.

Back in April, the commander of Khatam al-Anbia Construction Base said the base is implementing 10 national mega projects, the completion of which will take 2 years if sufficient funds are provided.

“10 mega projects are under construction in the country,” General Ebadollah Abdollahi said in a ceremony held in northeastern Iranian holy city of Mashhad on April 9.

There have been 85 percent of progress in the construction of these projects, he said at the time, predicting a great development in the county when they are put into operation.
