Tasnim - Persepolis football team defeated Siahjamegan 3-0 to finish top at half of Iran Professional League (IPL) season.

In the match attended by about 50,000 cheering spectators in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium, Kamal Kamyabinia gave the Reds a lead in the 8th minute, finding the goal with a header.

Four minutes later, Ramin Rezaeian scored with a right footed shot to the bottom right corner.

Persepolis best goal scorer Mehdi Taremi made it 3-0 in the 52nd minute.

Also, holder Esteghlal Khuzestan defeated Saba in Ahvaz thanks to a Hassan Beyt Saeed’s late winner.

Moreover, Paykan defeated Foolad 2-1. Mahan Rahmani scored an own goal in the 33rd minute and Morteza Aghakhan (39th) and Ali Hamoudi (43rd) scored for Paykan.

Persepolis finished in IPL first place with 32 points from 15 weeks.

Tractor Sazi stays in IPL second-placed with 27 points with one game in hand.
