IRNA- Visiting Russian Federation Council Chief Valentina Ivanovna Matviyenko underlined continuation of cooperation with Iran in fighting terrorism.


She made the remarks in a meeting with President Hassan Rouhani here Monday night.

Moscow is interested to enhance all-out ties with Iran, the official added.

She said that Iran-Russia parliaments should do their best to help the two countries' governments to execute the mutual agreements.

The official further urged boost of economic ties between the two countries.

The Joint Comprehensive Plan Of Action (JCPOA) has determined the prospect of cooperation between the two counties in field of peaceful nuclear program, she said.

Matviyenko added that Russian companies are interested in participating in Iran's energy projects.

She also called for easy visa issuance services between the two countries, adding that Moscow will continue cooperation with Tehran in fighting terrorism.
