Iran has great capacity to trade and can provide unique opportunities for businessmen and entrepreneurs, she added.

She also pointed out that due to its geographic location and abundant energy reserves, Iran could be a regional center for Malaysia in the Middle East, Central Asia and Europe. Malaysia can also be a regional center for Iran in South-East Asia and the Pacific because of its geographical conditions and cultural and religious common points.

Pointing to President Hassan Rouhani’s recent trip to Malaysia and his talks with Malaysia’s Prime Minister Najib Razak, she said Tehran and Kuala Lumpur agreed to expand cooperation in various fields of science, tourism, oil, gas and petrochemical, highway construction and the automotive industry.

Iran-Malaysia’s closer ties will ultimately lead to strengthening of the Islamic world position in the international arena, she stressed.
