Tehran, Oct 9, IRNA – Two Iranian citizens, who had been arrested by Kuwaiti security officers on charges of taking photos in a religious center in Kuwait, were freed.

The Iranians were freed on efforts of the consular section of Iranian Embassy in Kuwait.

Earlier, Kuwaiti Interior Ministry had issued a statement announcing that the Iranians were detained around Huli Province for suspicious photography.

An Iranian Embassy consular official thanked Kuwaiti officials for freedom of Iranian nationals.
