TEHRAN, Sep. 25 (MNA) – Iran’s Sharif University of Technology and Curtin University of Australia have signed a memorandum of understanding to boost cooperation in educational and research areas.
A four-strong delegation from the Curtin University, an Australian public research university based in Bentley, Perth, Western Australia, made a visit to Sharif University of Technology in Tehran.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was sealed between the two universities on the sidelines of the visit.
During a meeting of the two sides’ officials, venues for cooperation and interaction between Sharif University of Technology and Curtin University, as one of the world’s top universities, were discussed.
The head of the Australian delegation, while pointing to existence of join research centers between the two universities, emphasized the need for development of bilateral research, especially in the field of petroleum engineering.
Members of the visiting delegation also visited the IT service complex of Sharif University as well as its petroleum engineering laboratories.
