Tehran, Sept 18, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and Africa Affairs Hossein Jaberi Ansari will travel to Syria on Monday to attend the new round of Joint Iran-Syria Political Committee.


Jaberi Ansari will also meet Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and other senior Syrian officials to discuss the latest developments of the Arab country in addition to attending the joint political committee meeting.

The deputy foreign minister will consult the ways for helping in the all-out campaign against the terrorist groups and putting an end the ongoing crises through political dialogue.

Jaberi Ansari will also meet the leaders of the coalitions of Palestinian groups to exchange views on the latest developments of Palestine and ways to strengthen the Palestinian nation's Intifada against the occupation and expansionist policies of the Zionist regime.
