Vienna, Sept 14, IRNA – All members of G5+1 should be bound to their obligations enshrined in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) reached between Iran and the world six major powers, Vice President and Head of Environment Department Massoumeh Ebtekar said.
She made the remarks while speaking to IRNA on Tuesday.
The vice president called for speedy execution of the landmark nuclear deal made by Iran and G5+1 (US, Britain, Russia, China and France plus Germany) in 2015.
All countries should do their best to help removal of obstacles on the way of JCPOA implementation, she added.
Ebtekar arrived here on Monday night local time to meet with Austrian officials including the country’s agriculture minister.
She has been invited by Austrian Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management Minister Andrä Rupprechter to hold talks on issues of mutual interest.
Explaining the subjects of her talks with Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz, Ebtekar said she has discussed promotion of the two countries’ cooperation in economic fields including development of investment, new energies and wastewater treatment.
She added that in her talks with the Austrian officials, the two sides exchanged views on facilitation of banking exchanges for investors especially those who are willing to invest on environmental sector.
Ebtekar noted that Iranian officials’ consultations with their Austrian counterparts would continue.
Fortunately, Iran's Environment Department has implemented its documents regarding the environment guards, Ebtekar said.
