MOSCOW (Sputnik) – A meeting among the six foreign ministers responsible for hammering out the July 2015 landmark nuclear deal with Iran could meet on the sidelines of the upcoming UN General Assembly, the director of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Second Asian Department said Tuesday.
"Sergei Viktorovich [Lavrov] will likely cross paths with [Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad] Zarif. A meeting between the six foreign ministers is being worked out on the Iranian nuclear program," Zamir Kabulov, presidential envoy to Afghanistan, told RIA Novosti. The 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly begins later Tuesday in New York.
