TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif would take part in the 71st UN annual General Assembly conference in New York, said Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi.

Asked about possibility of Iranian President’s visit to New York to take part in the conference, he said, “We are investigating the issue and its fields to make the appropriate decision.”

He said that Iran attaches great importance to expanding ties with regional states.

“Decision of the Islamic Republic of Iran is expanding bilateral ties will all regional countries and we do not see any obstacle to problem to this relationship,” he said.
