TEHRAN (ISNA)- Director General of Foreign Media Department of Iranian Ministry of Culture Mohammad-Jafar Saafi said that there is no ban on Reuters’ activity in Iran.

Reuters faces no ban to open a center in Iran, he said, adding a number of officials of the news agency came to Iran and had meeting with us.

He said that during the meeting previous problems of the news agency’s activities in Iran were discussed.

“They acknowledged that they did not show an appropriate behavior regarding releasing a special report. They agreed to investigate resuming activities in Iran.”

He said that Reuters can open an office in Iran under rules and regulations.
