Astara, Aug 20, IRNA – Head of Veterinary department of Astara city Bahram Pourzarb said on Saturday that more than 95,000 dollars worth crème cheese has been exported from Astara Customs office to Russia.
Speaking to IRNA, Pourzarb said that 35 tons crème cheese by permission of Mazandaran Veterinary Department and supervision of Astara veterinary department were exported to Russia.
He said that it was the second batch of crème cheese export from land border of Astra to Russia in the current Iranian year and that the exported cheese worth 95,806 dollars.
Already 17 tons of crème cheese worth 47,903 dollars was exported to Russia from the same border.
Astara city with 86,000 population is located northwestern Gilan province.
